what i would wish to happen by the end of the day... considering it is a brand new day...
I would love to meet someone new, genuine, and amazing.

if i could wake up anywhere tomorrow i would love to wake up in my bed, with a puppy! i've never had a puppy before.

i love how the music makes these videos so romantic and shit... lol

the other day a friend of mine gave me a little snack cake when i was feeling down, and just looking at it and thinking of someone being thoughtful like that really did cheer me up...

i have been eating a lot of this lately as i just havnt had the time/motivation/energy to cook real breakfast.

so the roommies and i had a little pre-holiday dinner
we wanted to do a theme and we ended up choosing German

so it's been another long stretch of time with no blogging

things havn't really been all too eventful since my trip to seattle.

went to Baltimore to visit a friend over Halloween weekend...
it was fun. brought my bicycle out there and got to ride around a lot. the hills are a killer though.
















i have been riding my bike a lot. his name is Weasel. just a beater bike, an old schwinn. i had the boys over at Habitat convert it to single speed and i got a couple minor upgrades.
now that i'm confident enough to ride in the city, i am thinking about getting a nicer and LIGHTER bicycle... this shit is no joke. lugging it up 4 flights is not fun. plus it think something newer will be safer, i'll have more peace of mind. I found out later that this frame that i bought from Landmark Vintage, actually has a stress fracture in it probably the result of a headon collision of some sort.

anyway, bikes aside...

the weather here has been bizarre and annoying.
it got really cold for a second like to 30's-40's and then it's been back up to humid 60's-ish... which is just plain annoying since i started getting psyched up for the cold already.... hopefully it won't be like this all winter.

i have been hanging out with a lot of new people, and it's actually been really great

oh yeah, and Obama is our new prez, I am retarded stoked on that. It feels surreal. but I am really happy and i feel like people can sense the positive change in the air.

other than that... been working a lot... payin the bills.

so... i am gearing up for another trip.
this time 10 days in Seattle, but really some in Portland too.

I havn't really done much exploring on that end of the country so I am pretty pumped.
we're gonna do some camping... and... a little bit of everything else

I had the day off to get ready and relax a bit before my big trip but really things have been nuts.

my hamster, Bandit, died last night (old age :( ).... this is the kind of fucking city where there's really not even any time to cry about it. i did, for about 5 minutes. then i got a call about a photoshoot... so i had to stop so my eyes would be all puffy and gross. no time to stop and mourn. even the 1/2 assed "funeral" was like... dig a hole, throw the box in, and run before someone sees you.

i'm too tired to type anymore nonsense...
i don't think i am ever gonna post those pics from my last trip, or from before that... it's sort of a lost cause. oh well.

after a night of partying, I came home and hopped on MySpace.

I clicked on it and read... i was in shock...it's hard to believe one of the kindest and selfless people i have ever met is gone...

I contacted some friends that knew him too...
I was pretty drunk and tired... and it didn't start to really sink in until tonight...

yeah...

... so i leave FL in less than 5 hrs... i'm talking 5am flight
what was i thinking when i booked this shit?

anyway, i didnt get around to uploading any pics
i was pretty much busy the whole trip

but i have more now... so... it's going to take longer!

things have been really great these past few days and it sort of leaves me thinking "why did i ever leave?"
so now that I am headed back, i guess i should figure out why i did and if it's worth staying.

hopefully my flight takes off on time and i can dodge tropical storm Fay
i am headed back to a full day of work and play... i'm literally gonna have to hit the ground running
but that's new york...right?

my sister's bday!

today's is my sister's birthday! yay!
I am flying home to FL tomorrow to see her and my parents and some friends :)

i have some pics from some recent events... i'll post them when i'm bumming around my parents' house in the next couple of days.
